Today we built our very own river! We used foil to shape the river in the sandbox and brought the hose over as a water source. The children hunted for leaks and used their problem solving skills to keep the water in the river. We added some plastic fish to swim around (some ended up being whales and dolphins so we discussed river and ocean animals).
